-: Day 01 : Delhi - Haridwar (205 Km. - 6 hrs) :-
Morning arrival at Delhi airport and meet with our representative followed by drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel. Take time to relax before visiting Har-Ki-pori in the evening to enjoy the "Aarti” ceremony at the ghats. Later back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
-: Day 02 : Haridwar - Barkot (205 Km. - 6 hrs) :-Early morning drive to Haridwar with stoppage at Mussoorie for lunch. Continue drive to reach Barkot by evening en-route visiting the Kempty Falls, and upon arrival check-in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
-: Day 03: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (42 Km. Drive + 6 Kms. Treks) :-After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Hanuman Chatti from where we will take a local jeep to Janki Chatti to start the 6 km. trek to Sri Yamunotri.
Yamunotri : The source of River Yamuna, Yamnotri is a sacred shrine housing the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and is one of the famous "Chardhams” or four pilgrimage destinations. Located in Uttarakhand and at an altitude of 3235 metres, the shrine is situated atop mountains known as "Bandar poonch”. Anther popular attraction is its holy thermal springs located at Jankijatti, 7 km. away. Darshan and Pooja of Sri Yamunotri followed by lunch and treck down to Janki Chatti.
Janki Chatti : Another thermal spring located at a distance of 5 km from Yamnotri. Take a holy dip in the sacred water followed by drive to Hanuman Chatti and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
-: Day 04 : Barkot - Uttarkashi (85 km. - 4 hrs :-After a leisurely breakfast, an 85 km. drive to Uttarkashi, en-route visiting Prakateshwar Cave, and upon arrival at Uttarkashi check in at the hotel. Visit the famous Vishwnath Temple in the evening followed by drive back to hotel for overnight stay.
-: Day 05: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 Km.) :-Early morning drive to Gangotri.
Gangotri :- The sacred shrine of Gangotri is one of the holiest pilgrimage destinations of Hindus with Gaumukh –the source of Holy River Ganga originating from here. Visit the sacred sites at Gangotri including Gaumukh glaciers, Submerging Shivling, Nandanvan Tapovan followed by a holy dip in the sacred waters of Ganga. Afternoon drive to Uttarkashi an on arrival check into the Hotel.
-: Day 06: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (223 km. Drive 9 - 10 hrs) :-After breakfast, leave for Guptkashi stopping en-route for lunch at Molgahr. On the way, see the ancient city of Tehri slowly submerging in the sacred River Ganges, due to the construction of the Tehri Dam. Post lunch, continue drive to reach Guptakashi in the evening, on the way visiting the beautiful river Mandakini. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
-: Day 07: Guptakashi - Kedarnath (32 km- 13 km trek) :-After breakfast leave for Gaurikund (32 km.) and upon arrival start a tough trek stopping en-route for lunch and continue afterwards to arrive at a tourist Ashram by late afternoon. Take time to relax before heading out on a tour of Kedarnath.
Kedarnath : One of the 12 sacred holy Jyotirlingas of Kedar, it is one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage destinations. The great saint and scholar Adi Guru Sankaracharya enshrined Lord Shiva at this place, situated 14 km from Gaurikund with the scenic Kedarnath range in the background. Snow covered peaks amidst natural surroundings houses the Kedarnath shrine, adding to its beauty. An ancient temple believed to be build by the Pandavas stands next to the present main temple built in the 18th century by Adi Sankaracharya. Its walls are richly decorated with various paintings and carving depicting mythological incidents and deities. After pooja and Darshan at all sacred sites including Shankaracharya Samadhi, Gaurikund, Madmaheshwar and Tungnath, return To the Ashram for dinner and overnight stay.
-: Day 08: Kedarnath - Rudraprayag (80 km. Drive-14 Km. trek) :-After a leisurely breakfast start your return journey to Gaurikund and upon arrival drive to Rudraprayag. On arrival check in at hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
-: Day 09: Rudraprayag - Badrinath (170 km.) :-
After breakfast drive to Badrinath and upon arrival proceed for the holy Darshan of Badrinath.
Badrinath: Badrinath is regarded as the holiest of all four Chardham shrines, and is located between the twin mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan with scenic Neelkanth mountain at its backdrop. Visited by millions of devotees each year, the place is called the abode of Lord Vishnu.
Some of the places to visit include:Tapt kund: A thermal spring with a temperature of 130 degrees and believed to possess medicinal properties, the devotees take a holy dip here before entering the temple.
Panch Shilas: This constitutes of 5 blocks of historical importance including Narad sila-where Sage Narad meditated, Narsimha-a stone sculpture shaped as lion believed to be Lord Narshimha, Barah- shaped as a Boar, one of the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Garur- where garur, the carrier of Lord Vishnu meditated and Markandeya- the site where Sage Markendeya meditated to obtain eternal peace.
Narad Kund: Adi Sankaracharya recovered the idol of Lord Badrinath from Narad kund. It is a recess in the river sheltered by a rock which breaks the flow of the river enabling devotees to take a holy dip in the water. Brahma Kapal: Another sacred place at Badri, it is believed that as a result of blessing of Lord Vishnu, the fifth head of Brahma fell at this place after it was sliced by Shiva. Hence, the name is derived as Brahama Kapal (head of Brahma).
Neelkanth: Also known as "Queen of Garhwal”, it is a snow covered peak 6,598 meters above sea-level, providing a majestic view of the valley. This pyramid shaped peak is a popular tourist spot. Overnight stay at hotel.
-: Day 10: Badrinath - Rudraprayag (160 km.) :-
Earlyt morning Arti Darshan followed by drive to Rudraprayag and on arrival check in at the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay.
-: Day 11: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh (135 Km. 7 hrs) :-After breakfast leave for Rishikesh en-route visiting Devprayag - the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later, proceed for the sightseeing tour of the sacred place. Savor the sacred city of Rishikesh, take a dip in the holy river Ganges and explore the ashrams in and around the place. In the evening, visit Laxman Jhula, Bharat Mandir and Rishikund. Overnight stay at the hotel.
-: Day 12: Rishikesh - Delhi (234 km) :-After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Delhi and upon arrival transfer to the Airport for your retutn/onward jouney.
