-: Day 01 - Delhi - Haridwar :-
Meet with our representatives, who will drive you to Haridwar and upon arrival check in at hotel. Take time to relax before heading out to explore Haridwar. Haridwar: Savor the sacred city, take a dip in the holy river Ganges and explore the ashrams in and around Haridwar. Some of these Ashrams are recognized internationally as important centers of meditation, yoga and philosophical studies. In the evening, attend the prayer at Hari Ki Paudi, and savour the sight of ‘aarti’ ritual being performed on the ghats. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
-: Day 02: Haridwar- Syanna chatti :-Full day drive along the River Yamuna visiting the sacred shrines at Hanuman Chatti- the starting point of the 3,300m trek to Dodi tal. Sayana Chatti- a beautiful spot which makes for an ideal stopover enroute Yamunatri located further 18km.upwards. Transfer to a hotel at Synachatti for dinner and overnight stay.
-: Day 03 - Syanna chatti- Yamunotri-Syanna Chatti :-Morning after breakfast trek to Yamunotri.
Yamunatri: The source of River Yamuna, it is a sacred shrine housing the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and is one of the famous "Chardhams" or four pilgrimage destinations. Located in Uttarakhand and at an altitude of 3235 metres, the shrine is situated atop mountains known as "Bandar poonch”. Anther popular attraction is its holy thermal springs located at Jankijatti, 7 km. away. Visit temple for Darshan & Puja followed by drive back to Sayna chatti hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
-: Day 04: Syanna Chatti - Uttarkashi :-
After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi and upon arrival transfer to an Ashram. Post lunch, explore the local area by visiting the Ghats, Ahsrams or meditation centers or just shopping for the local goods & handicrafts at the local market. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
-: Day 05: Uttarkashi - Gangotri :-Morning drives to Gangotri and upon arrival check in at hotel.
Gangotri: Located amidst scenic natural settings, the source of Holy River Ganga known as Gaumukh originates from here. According to mythology, King Bhagirath performed severe penance for redemption of sins of his clan, as a result of which Goddess Ganga manifested herself in the form of a river and descended from heaven. To minimize the great force of the fall, Lord Shiva received her into his matted locks from where the river reemerged into several streams, with the one starting from Gangotri came to be called as Bhagirathi. In the 18th century, the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa constructed a temple at the same spot, which is now visited by millions of devotees every year.
On the right bank of the River Bhagirathi is situated another holy temple believed to be built by the Pandavas- the Hindu mythological gods who performed the 'Deva Yajna' here to obtain atonement for the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharat. Visit all of the chief sacred shrines followed by Ganga Aarti and overnight stay at hotel.
-: Day 06: Gangotri-Uttarkashi :-
After morning breakfast drive to Uttarkashi and check-in at the hotel. Post lunch, a short excursion to Govind wildlife Sanctuary which apart from the abundant wildlife, is also famous for the scenic surroundings constituting of snow capped Himalayas, glaciers and thick forests- attracting thousands of tourists every year. Night Stay at Uttarkashi.
-: Day 07: Uttarkashi- Haridwar :-Monring drive to Haridwar and upon arrival check in at hotel. Day time free for leisure activities followed by dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
-: Day 08: Haridwar- Delhi :-Morning drive to Delhi and upon arrival transfer to the airport/railhead for onward/return journey.
