Palace On Wheels Tour

Duration: 7nights/8 days.

Destination: Delhi-Jaipur-Jaisalmer-Jodhpur-Ranthambore Tiger sanctuary- Udaipur-Agra-Delhi.

1645 Hours: Report at Delhi railway station and board Palace on wheels for the Maharaja Train tour.

1800 Hours:Departure for a week’s tour in the wonderland.

2000 Hours:Dinner on board.

-: Day 2 - Jaipur :-

0000 Hours: Arrival in Jaipur.

0730 Hours: Breakfast on board.

0830 Hours: Sightseeing. 1300 hours: Lunch at hotel.

Jaipur is the capital of the state of Rajasthan. Jaipur is the first planned city of India. Located in the desert land, the structure of Jaipur resembles the taste of royal families and the Rajputs. Amber Fort is the first on the list of several tourists attractions that can be visited on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Some of the other attraction in Jaipur includes Maota lake palaces, Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh fort. This town is most popular for semi-precious stones, jwellery and Gems.

1900 Hours: Departure for Jaisalmer.

2000 Hours: Dinner on board.

0615 Hours: Arrival in Jaisalmer. 0730 Hours: Breakfast on board. 0830 Hours: Sightseeing. Jaisalmer is the most alluring destination in Rajasthan. Jaisalmer is famous for its magnificent forts, Havelis and the century old houses. Jaisalmer has a number of tourist attractions including Jaisalmer Fort, Jaisalmer Havelis, Bara Bagh, Tazia Tower and Sam Sand Dunes. The nearby shifting sand dunes of Sam reminds you of Sahara Desert.

1300 hours: Lunch on board and rest.

1700 hours: Visit the sand dunes and experience the thrill of a camel safari.

1930 hours: Dinner while enjoying a cultural programme.

2300 hours: Departure for Jodhpur.

-:Day 04 – Jodhpur :-

730 Hours: Breakfast on board.

0800 Hours: Arrival in Jodhpur.

0830 Hours: Sightseeing.

1300 Hours: Lunch at the Umaid Bhawan Palace.

Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajsathan, after Jaipur. Founded in 1459 A.D by Rao Jodhaji, Jodhpur has a number of tourist attraction like Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Umaid palace has now been converted into luxurious heritage hotel. Other popular places are Kaliana Lake, Balsamand Lake,Gardens and Mahamandir Temple.

1530 hours: Departure for Sawai Madhopur.

2000 hours: Dinner on board.

-:Day 05 - Morning: Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary :- tiger, ranthambhore national park

0400 hours: Arrival in Sawai Madhopur.

0630 hours: Breakfast on board.

0700 hours: Visit the Ranthambhore National Park.

Sawai Madhopur Lodge is an old hunting lodge which has been converted into a deluxe resort by the famous Taj group and is located on 12 beautiful acres of garden. Sawai Madhopur is the gateway to the Ranthambhor National Park situated in east of Rajasthan. The Ranthambhore National Park was once the hunting preserve of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary today offers an intense diversity of flora and fauna. Tigers are the park’s pride and it is one of the best places in the country to observe them. Besides Tigers, a large numbers of Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Gazzelle, Boars, Mongoose, Indian Hare, Monitor Lizards and a large number of birds resides in the sanctuary.

Afternoon: Chittaurgarh Fort

1100 hours: Departure for Chittaurgarh.

1300 hours: Lunch on board.

1530 hours: Arrival in Chittaurgarh.

1600 hours: Sightseeing.

Chittorgarh is also known as Chittaur. It was the capital of Mewar under the Rajputs. Chittorgarh was very powerful state of India in royal days. Its origins are traced to the Pandavas of Mahabharata. 2000 hours: Dinner on board

0645 hours: Breakfast on board.

0730 hours: Sightseeing.

1230 hours: Lunch at the Lake Palace Hotel.

Udaipur is formally known as the city of Lake and the Venice of East. You can visit the famous Lake Palace, city palace, Jag Mandir, Jagdish temple, and Fateh Sagar.

2000 hours: Departure for Bharatpur.

2000 hours: Dinner on board.

-: Day 07: Morning Agra (Taj Mahal) :-

After breakfast, begin your visit to the symbol of Love, the Taj Mahal dressed in white marble. It was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Continue your sightseeing tour of Agra before departing for Bharatpur. Afternoon: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. In the afternoom you will arrive at Bharatpur. Bharatpur is one of the finest sanctuaries of the word. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary shelters over 400 species of birds consisting of a variety of indigenous as well as migratory birds. Bharatpur is also home to an astonishing range of exotic flora and fauna. In the night we depart for Delhi. Dinner is served on board.
